Final Photo Project

For my final set of photos I had originally intended to emulate the style of documentary photography by taking my camera out for a night with my friends and I headed to a concert and the events that might occur with it. After observing my scenery at the concert I noticed that the feel of the Old Main had one of pop art. The constant changing of the colors of the building allowed for me to grasp a very hazy and colorful set of photos. In the end I created only 2 photos but the photos used to create them were 7 in total. I tried to emulate Andy Warhol in these photos. This type of photography appeals to me because the colors and overall fun of this style are just more aesthetically appealing to me personally. Andy Warhol was a very important man within this realm of art because of his ability to create such simple looking and bold images. My photos are similar to that of Warhol's because of the bright and simple colors used. The images I created will be different because they are photos that are not altered in any way but instead layered together and the colors occurred in real life.
In this first photo this is where it occurred to me that I can incorporate pop art into real life. The 3 images that created this one image were almost done accidentally and are related to my overall idea because of the colors.
Once again this photo is related to the others because of the colors and the simplicity in the way it was created. The overall idea of the photo was just to take a picture of what this scenery looks like from the outside instead of being on the inside.

Set of 7 of the original photos.
